Our State Magazine announced that Asheville’s Ginger’s Revenge Craft Brewery is a finalist in the upcoming Made in NC Awards.

Eight years ago, the Ginger’s Revenge co-founders decided to relocate to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Inspired by the fresh mountain air, creative community vibe, and entrepreneurial spirit, David Ackley and Cristina Hall hoped Asheville would be the location for the business they envisioned opening together one day.

“At this point, Ginger’s Revenge was just a glimmer, and ginger beer was a home brew we enjoyed keeping stocked in the fridge,” said Hall. “Now, many thousands of pounds of fresh ginger later, we are honored to be recognized as a finalist in Our State Magazine Made in NC Awards.”

Stay tuned for announcement of the winners.

“We are so thankful for community support (in North Carolina and beyond) and the fellow beverage producers that inspire us,” Hall said.

At the north River Arts tasting room, the popular Fall Harvest seasonal brew will be released soon. This ginger beer features roasted locally-grown pumpkin, cinnamon basil from Rayburn Farm in Bardnardsville and anise hyssop from October Fields in Maine.

The Ginger’s Revenge brewery and tasting room is at 829 Riverside Dr., Ste. 100, in Asheville. Visit http://www.gingersrevenge.com.
