We understand that ginger beer isn’t for everyone, and we want our space to be inclusive, no matter your beverage persuasion!

So in addition to our rotating local grain-based beer selection, we’ve added a white & rosé wine by Avaline.

These two wines are organic, vegan friendly, and made without added sugars & artificial colors. They are crisp, semi-dry, and clean on the palate.

Wine is currently exclusive to our South Slope Lounge location at 32 Banks Avenue, in Asheville, North Carolina.

This ginger beer has a lovely and complex blend of ginger, hibiscus flowers, lavender, honey, clove, and vanilla.

🍻JUST BREW IT

@justeconomicswnc is hosting their annual Just Brew It home-brewing competition and fundraiser this Saturday, June 3rd at Pisgah Brewing in Black Mountain.

👑Pictured here is our co-founder and CEO, David, in 2013 after just winning the People's Choice Award and the Tony Kiss Beer Writer Award for his home-brewed ginger beer. This is where things really started to click for our two co-founders and they realized it was time to take the leap and go all in for Asheville's first and only ginger beer brewery.

The Just Brew It festival holds a special place in our hearts and we're thrilled to be able to be a sponsor all these years later!

✨THE SMOKIN' ONION 🧅

@thesmokinonion will be on site at our Riverside Tasting Room today from 2-6pm. And unfortunately for us, this will be Smokin' Onion's last Sunday setting up in our dock space.

We've so enjoyed having them as a constant in our rotation for so long, and we're sad to see them go! You can still find them out and about in Asheville, keep up with their social media to see what they're up to.

This is our take on a French 75: a dreamy blend of @chemistspirits American gin, lemon juice, lavender simple syrup, and Lemondrop Dry-Hopped ginger beer.

Draft ginger beer cocktails are exclusive to our South Slope Lounge location at 32 Banks Avenue.

✨FAQ: What is it? Are your ginger beers a beer or a cider?

As @avlbeerweek comes to a close, we wanted to take the time to talk about why we're able to participate:

While we may not use any barley or malt, our product is indeed considered a beer! To begin, we use traditional beer brewing techniques, using organic cane sugar as our base fermentable, as well as ginger, citrus juices, spices, and yeast. Once fermented, we begin to use alternative techniques to blend in interesting flavor combinations. As we don't ferment any fruit in our process, we're not considered a cider or wine.

And since omit barley and malt, our product is naturally gluten-free - you won't find any wheat products here!
