Our product is federally classified as a beer. The federal government considers organic cane sugar (our base fermentable) a “malt alternative”. Our hot process looks more similar to making beer; we just use sugar and ginger instead of malt (grains) and hops. Cider is classified as a wine because the process involves fermenting pressed fruit juice and there is typically not a cold side involved. We do not ferment any fruit juice.
We choose our ingredients for quality. Some of the citrus juice we use is not organic. We also buy local when we can. This often includes habanero peppers and the herbs we use in our Summer Herbal Series. All of spices and sugar are certified organic. The majority of sugar that we use is also certified organic expect for when we buy local ginger, which is soured from a farm that grows the ginger in greenhouses.

We’re always interested in discovering new small businesses! For our artisan markets, we hand pick vendors to make the experience as meaningful for our guests as they are for our vendors, and tend to keep markets small as we have little space to work with. If you’d like to apply to be a vendor in a future market at Ginger’s Revenge, please fill out this form with your business’ information: https://forms.gle/tuPkkjJx5Mwkronn9
