Maia Sanders (also goes by Artemis) is the artist behind Maia Mehndi. They have been doing henna since 2016 and has been having a blast with it the whole time. They have picked up facepainting in the last year and are having fun learning all the new techniques.

They are a native of Gastonia, NC but have been living in the Asheville area for the last 9 years. Aside from henna and facepaint they also enjoy crocheting, playing video games, dungeons and dragons and various other crafts and hobbies.
