Jim Swayzee is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter based in Asheville, NC. His style of vintage folk rock draws comparisons to Jackson Browne, Neil Young, and the Birds among others. He arrived in Asheville via Chicago in 2016 and has been working as a performing and recording artist across the WNC area since then. He was a finalist in Asheville’s Brownbag Songwriting Competition in 2017 and 2019, and was a showcase artist at AVL Fest in 2024.
